I love Dambo so much! And don't care about people saying things just to be mean (because giving one's opinion is what everybody should do, but tell that the things you do have not any sense is just MEAN), cos it makes no sense despise one's creativity, and there are never too many good things! This photo is really SWEET!
Would I be annoying if I say that that thing made out of a piece of paper is just paper, and not a he?? If yes then that old saying "truth hurts" is true in that case.. You shouldn't be offended, but there are way too many of these pointless photographs with that thing refered to as he..
It actually is made out of paper and I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to point out some things, like the fact that "danbo" isn't a live being and that it's a bit funny how some people are so proud of a photograph that didn't really take that much effort to make but yeah there are so many of such photos of all kinds of things here on dA so...and that's exactly why I haven't put up more shots of flowers.
Actually, danbos are made of PVC. I think some people hand make them, but most people buy them. Obviously they are inanimate objects, but hey, people with wild imaginations and camera obsessions love these little "cardboard robots", so they can call them "hes" if they like. Ironically Elise never actually called it a he though...
Um wild imaginations? and yeah as you said camera obsessions and probably boredom are the two essential characteristics that created these numerous shots that dA's flooded with sometimes. Excuse me for noticing and replying, but sometimes it's necessary .
Well, I think you have to have some imagination to come up with danbo shots, because after all, they're "cardboard robots", so they don't exactly start coloring pictures or walking in the park or whatever you see them doing by themselves. But hey, that's just my opinion. No harm done, right?
Yeah exactly, they are just cardbord objects for show, and they don't live and color, etc so what's the big issue, alright a few shots but there are more and more of them, and I'm not saying there's harm done but there's time wasted that's for sure
In that case, you could say any photography or any art is time wasted, because, what does a colored on paper accomplish? Nothing really. There are a lot of deviations I don't care for, and that's ok, I don't bother with them.If you don't care for danbo shots, you have a right not to bother with them. You're entitled to your own opinion. That's all I'm saying. Some people enjoy taking danbo shots, so its not time wasted for them.
