I'd want to be decently popular in da and life.I want to be happy when i go to school because ik i have atleast 1 or 2 friends that are looking forward to me too you know?

A little bit, yes. Relative popularity on DA helps me to get through school and make some money. I can do work that I enjoy and I can do it at home. Without DA and my "popularity" I'd have to get some other job that I wouldn't enjoy very much... What about you?
I dont really care XD i move so much that im usually not popular till a few years after living somewhere and in all truth on deviantart im mostly on here to see my sisters art and her improvement being able to see her work is more important than a dd on here to me anyways same in real life i've got her and shes got me so....even if im NOT popular i've got someone on my side
My friends and I got into a conversation about this today. One of my friends has been sitting with the 'popular' kids during lunch lately and then starting sitting with my friends and I again today. He said that they didn't want to hang out with him because he hung out with MY friends and I. I told him that popularity doesn't really matter. He replied that being 'popular' means everything to him and he'll do anything to BE popular. I then asked him what makes a person popular. He just said that it's the way people act. I replied to him that what makes their actions more special than anyone else's? In my personal opinion, popularity doesn't really matter in most cases. All in all, we all like to be acknowledged by the people who care about us the most. But getting some attention outside of your circle is good too
Huh. I think maybe a little. Maybe not if you're popular for frivolous things like stupid memes, but if you're genuinely good at drawing and you can show your prospective employers that you get a lot of commissions. Ah I don't know. I'm just rambling >_>
